Thank you guys. So the only serviceable part is the isolators, correct? But now I feel 100% confident I can also get rid of the noise if it comes back, thanks to Mitchell and Bluewoo. I sprayed some Fluid Film to the clamp, but maybe not exactly where Bluewoo did. Will try that again on both sides, as well as the bushings and pivot points. And if not, will start with gluing a piece of rubber on top of the isolator. And if I can't find something, then Mitchell's solution of adding a piece of radiator hose (is that what it is?) in-between. Hey Mitchell, what did you use to open up the leaves that much? And didn't you break the plastic piece inside the 'C' clamp to prevent that? Thx.

I'm thinking a crowbar would probably spread the leaves apart enough to slide in new slipper pad. Might help to jack that corner of the truck up to make it easier. Just don't let the crowbar slip out with yer fingertips in between the leaves!

And as far as damaging the rebound clip? I don't think you really could! Those are designed to hold the leaves together under all conditions, so would be pretty tough to damage one!
