I use Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax for price and durability it can't be beat. Plus I use their spray detailer in between waxes. My Truck is quite dirty in this picture as you can tell by the front but look at the depth and luster of the paint down the drivers side.

Just minor mods so far (tint, weathertechs, etc.). Here she is with my “HD” leveling kit...

How’s everyone’s paint holding up? I saw some guy on the raptor forum complaining about this being the worst color ever for swirls etc...so as a fresh owner of a leadfoot I’m curious how everyone’s is holding up?

I have only had mine for 3.5 months but I do wash it every week. It still looks fine to me. I have not noticed any unusual swirl marks. I do use regular towels to dry so I would think that if it were actually an issue, I would probably have swirl marks.

Mine came from the dealer with swirl marks. You can only see them at the right angle when the sun is shining. I have a cheap DA polisher that I used with some meguiars ultimate compound without success. I'm not sure how to get them out.

That sucks I’m no paint expert. I’m having a one step paint correction done and adding ceramic coating. Have you gotten more swirl marks, or just the ones from the dealer.

Ive read some threads were people are saying the paint is beat to hell after 6 months and that freaked me out. Other people don’t make a mention of it.

I've taken mine thru an automated car wash since I purchased it about 6 months ago. No swirl marks. Approximately 20 washes thus far.

6 months in and no swirls. I also don’t wash or dry using circular motions. Im taking mine in next week to have it clay barred and some fancy 12 mo wax job. Hopefully that will keep it in solid shape.
