It's funny we are using the terminology "Positraction" and Positive Traction. Positraction was a GM trademark up until they quit calling it that in the 1960s. Many of the older Cheby guys are still calling it that.
Thanks for the responses. At least the traction control helps compensate somewhat for not having a locking diff. I regret not having a locking diff., but I'm still happy with my F150.

Limited slip is still an option so you could have it. My 2011 had it and it uses clutch packs....

There is no mention of it on the window sticker. Is this a standard feature that I have missed reading about in the manual or brochure?

From what I read when trying to figure out what diff I had in my truck was that limited slip isn't offered in the 2015-2016 F150. That's what had me so confused because I always thought a open diff only powered one rear wheel. Glad I know how they really work now!

Thanks Turbo-Bimmer for setting me straight!

Limited slip is not an option on 2015+ F150's. Standard is an open diff. Optional is an electronic locking diff. You pull out a **** on the dash to lock the rear.

You pull out the 4x4 **** on 4 wheel drive models to engage the e locker.

Good to hear the electronic LSD works that well, it doesn't on some of my older vehicles. My plan when I got a truck was to find one without the locker and install an Easton Truetrac for on-road performance, but if the eLSD works that well I may not worry about it.
