LARIAT rebates
So the current lariat customer cash rebate is $1000. The XLT is $3750. BIG DIFFERENCE.
I want to hold out and get a Lariat later in the year when the rebates for the Lariat are higher. Question is, how high have you all seen them before? And I'm not talking financing bonus cash for using Ford credit or lease money. I'm talking straight cash from the factory to get the trucks sold. Just wondering if historically they ever hook up lariat owners.
Thanks!

I bought in October 2015, this might give you an idea what to expect for 2016s later this year:
MSRP: $46,285
Dealer discount: - $6,740
Public Lariat rebates: - $1500
Bonus Ecoboost rebate: - $300
Ford financing rebate: - $750
AHQA Rebate: - $500
Direct mail offer rebate: - $500
Doc fee: $150
Ford credit lien release fee: $25
3-day DMV pass to drive away and register in my state: $29
So I walked out of the dealer with a total loan balance of $36,199. I purchased out of state, so also I paid a couple hundred in registration fees directly to my state DMV.
Some things to keep in mind:
- you might want to take the Ford rebate, call the next day for your account number, and refinance with a credit union. that way you get a good rate and the rebate
- if you know you're purchasing at least 60 days in advance, join AHQA for a $500 rebate. it's around $40 to join
- When you're almost ready to purchase, sign up for brochures and see if you can get a direct offer of $500 or $1000

I got a 2016 Lariat. Ford had $3750 delivery allowance + 750= $4500 off plus negotiated dealer discount and included 0% Ford financing for 72 months.
This was a better deal than a 2015 they had on the lot.
