Default Lariat pricing

Hello everyone. This is one of my first post in the forum. The time has come for me to look at a truck again as my family is outgrowing my current vehicle which is a fusion.

I know this question probably gets old but wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are.

I am looking at a magnetic Lariat in 4x4 with the 3.5L EB. It has the chrome package and 20" wheels and the 502a package. Also included are max trailer package, tailgate step, and 36 gallon extended tank.

The currently are offering me this at list which is a little over $53k. I am working to get more as my dad actually insures the dealership. Curious if people think this is a good deal if I can get another additional 500 to 1k off?

Also I am thinking about getting the extended warranty as I am in sales and put about 20k miles on my car a year if not more. Also I know people are going to wonder why i am not going with the 2.7L. Mostly because I want the 502a package and it is not available with that. Also I really liked how the 3.5 drove!

Thanks and I have learned a lot so far form this forum

This a 2016? You a Costco member? By list you mean MSRP? You should be able to get a better deal than this.

I'm going to preface this by saying I'm not sure what the 2016s are typically going for, but that seems high to me. I have a nearly identical 2015 truck, only w/o the 36 gal tank and w/ the sport package and I paid 46.7k for mine before extended warranty/taxes/licensing.

So for me personally, I think it's high but I'm sure others will chime in with more info on the 2016s

That is a terrible price they are offering you. Down right comical to be honest

At that price you must be getting the tech package also? My 2015 lariat was 55,000 with tech, parking, moon, ACC,20" 36g, tailgate step.

I agree with others. If it is a 2016, a similar optioned vehicle with that price quoted is just above X-Plan. I think you should at least be able to get to X-Plan which is about another 1k off + any rebates and whatnot.

this also includes the delivery fee on it as well.

What should I expect of of MSRP?

Just purchased similar vehicle two weeks ago. I got mine for two grand under invoice plus rebates. About 8800 total. Doc fees were $299. No trade. I think pricing depends on location though. Bought mine in NH.
