Default Lane centering Its possible ?

Hello good afternoon everyone,
I don't know if this is the right place to post, I recently bought a F150 2015 Platinum, and it has adaptive cruise control with Lane keep assist, but it works very poorly lol ,
Is there any possibility of installing the Lane centering system? along with Stop & Go

I'm very anxious to know if this is really possible, I didn't know about these systems before I bought the truck, if I did I would definitely look for a model with Lane centering

Technology is not always your friend. My wife just bought a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz with lane centering. Hers works off of the painted road stripes, which I assume most systems do. It’s constantly jockeying from left to right until it catches the painted stripe on the opposite side of the road. It is wholly unstable, and the steering wheel rocks back and forth constantly. I hate it totally. She loves it. I turn it off every time I get behind the wheel. It is a poor and, I think, dangerous technology that needs a lot of refinement, at least from Hyundai.

By “stop and go” do you mean the stop-start function?? My 2018 has it and I immediately bought a module the plugs into the system to shut it off, as did my 3 sons, my 2 son-in-laws and many of my neighbors. Ugh

No, I mean the System ( Lane centering ) Mine doesn't have it, It only has Lane keep assist I wanted to know if it's possible to install Lane centering somehow or Stop&go
Stop & go (The car stops at 0mph and automatically accelerates when the car in front starts to move)

I have a 2015 which also has the Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Keep Assist.

The
Adaptive Cruise works pretty well for the most part, sometimes it will detect stuff that isn't really in direct line of the truck and slam the brakes on (about throwing you through the windshield), but over all I am happy with it. I am not sure if it will bring you to a complete stop if traffic stops in front of you, but it will get real damn close, I just never have had to confidence in it to try 100% (I'd rather not find out it won't by hitting another car in the rear).

The lane Keep Assist is a damn joke. it will hit left, right, left, right, then not read the lines. Does this over and over. Then on the interstate, god forbid you have it on and want to switch lanes without using your signal, lol. Junk system.

I think Ford had made a lot of progress in 2015, but just didn't have everything dialed in. I also like to add upgrades from newer models to my ride when I can, but i just think there is too much work to bring some of the newer technology to our older model, especially the 2015 model.

Lane centering will not overcome a wheel alignment problem nor will it counter alignment settings for road crown. KM

Your lane keeping ASSIST is working as designed. It's there to reduce the chance of you leaving your lane accidentally if you aren't paying attention... that's it. It only intervenes if you get close to the lane line. It's not intended to do the driving for you or keep the vehicle centered in the lane.

It will, as long as the speed difference between you and whatever is in front of you is less than about 30 mph. When I first got my truck, I wasn't sure how much to trust it, and kept my foot hovering over the brake pedal in traffic. It works really well in stop-and-go. I use it in urban freeway traffic and on rural highways all the time, and keep my feet off the pedals unless I'm approaching stopped traffic at higher speed.
