Default KYB Shocks?

Looking to replace OEM worthless rear shocks on my 2015 XLT SCAB 4x2.
Would like to go with Fox or 5100's but budget restraint prohibits.
Has any one had actual experience With KYB gas adjust shocks? any improvement over OEM? Truck is 100% stock and is used about 90% highway driving, including 10% medium towing 5 to 6 K lbs. 39K miles, rear shocks my only complaint.

We run the red KYB's on our company F250 fleet. They're a damn good shock for the money.

Based on what I'm seeing, the KYB rear shocks are $60 a pop. I installed the Bilstein 5100s I got from Autoplicity last night. It's not my business to quote his pricing here, but you should really send him a PM.

After research I decided to go with the KYB gas A just shocks. Ordered from Rockauto at 3PM on Thursday Fed EX showed up at 9AM on Friday. Installed today Saturday, took a short drive over washboard road what a world of difference. I can't make a comparison with the more expensive Fox or 5100's as i have never used them but compared to OEM a vast improvement. IMO money well spent

Thanks for the tip and review of the KYB. I have ran Monroe Reflex shocks and struts on my last 3 trucks and love them. I can get them from Rockauto for $40 each. No matter what, they have to be better than stock. I think my stock ones are fine for now, I only have 250 miles on the truck, but even over the railroad tracks I have went over, there was no rear hop/sidestep/bounce.
