I hope this is the right spot for this question.
i have the kicker system with two amp, i came across someone selling the Sony door speaker can anyone think of a reason why this wouldn’t work with the kicker system? I would think theSony’s would be an upgrade. Thoughts?

Not bad. I'm not knocking the Sonys...hell, I'm gonna add a 8" Memphis powered sub to mine with a nice LOC that lets me boost bass, and call it a day. My factory speakers sound OK at the volumes I want them to play.
But if I ever take the time to take my door panels off, there will be good speakers going in there. I'm only doing that once.

i just got the kicker VSS off another member for a great price and ran into these. They look good nice magnet size and all.
But i agree on the panels it’s bit a fun adventure.
