Default Kicker hideaway question

I bought this amp subwoofer in one combo. I ran power to battery and grounded it. I read I need to tap a speaker wire to get signal to the kicker, I have no idea what this means. Also I read I need RCA cables which were not included. What do these RCA cables even do? Thank u

You have some learning to do, no offense. For starters, what system did you buy, and what sound system do you have in your truck factory?

Worth a look. I added the Rockford version of what you have. Works pretty well and no cutting or running wires needed.

I have 16 xl f150. The radio is pretty darn basic. Only has sync.

I installed a Hideaway in my 2014 F150 and love it and I'm no expert st installing stuff. All you need to do connect to one of the rest speakers. PM me and I'll walk you through it.
