kick open box steps

Default kick open box steps

has anyone looked at the steps are they the same as the 2009 to 2014 steps. i have a set on my 2013 and getting the 2015 next week wondering if they will fit the new truck

When I asked about them for my 2015 order the dealer showed me them on a 2014 and said they are the same. Hopefully he didn't just mean in functionality.

I have them on my 15 XLT...they are really great. The dealer did happen to mention Ford hadn't changed them.

I tried to order a Ford set for 5.5' bed and the 2015 were a different part number. Go a e-mail back saying the parts are not available from Ford yet. As the 2015 has a new boxed frame I think you will new a new set.

maybe some one can answer this question if the frame is steel not aluminum why do i need a special hitch (according to ford) that has some type of barrier between the steal and aluminum?? this is the same i was wondering about the side steps

I think the steps are steel and bolted to steel frame, not a problem.
Are you referring to a 5th wheel hitch. A general answer is anytime steel and aluminum contact each other you need to separate with a barrier. A steel 5th wheel hitch sits on aluminum bed.
