Default Keyless horn issue

Is there a way to disable the two blast for the horn if you keep the key fob after cranking the truck ?

Turn it off via Forscan.

You can get it to not honk most of the time, if you hold the fob to the door as you close it. The truck thinks it's inside when you do this, and won't honk.

Forscan is the best way though.

Also if locking the vehicle with the fob inside and you use the lock button inside the door it will honk. To lock fob inside the truck use the keypad to lock and it won't honk.

I am going to guess this horn honk problem I have read now and then is something you have with your "upper class" trucks with push button start. Because with my key start, I have never had the horn honk with locking, unlocking, fob inside, fob outside, whatever.

Correct, this issue does not affect F150s equipped with the peasant package.

It would be nice to remove the double honk and maybe replace it with a softer beep or something a little quieter so as not to wake the neighbors up when I back outta the garage in the morning.
The only way around it is to back truck out, shut it off, get out and remote start it again! PITA
