Default Key hard to remove from ignition

Over the past few days it's happened to me 3 times. It will come out with some gentle jiggling and pulling, but I'm getting concerned since it keeps happening.

Truck is column shift and key start.

Ideas or does it need to go into the dealer? It does have an extended warranty.

54k miles.

Does it insert smoothly and pull out smoothly when it isn't stuck? Have you tried putting some graphite in the lock?

It inserts smoothly. I guess it comes out smoothly once it does come out.

I haven't put any graphite or anything in there yet as I wanted to ask first. I use this lubricant on open gear guitar tuners because it doesn't attract dust and dirt. Would this be ok or would graphite be better?

Ok, I'm reading graphite might be a bad idea due to the electrical switch connections in there?

Supposedly this is a good one and you should spray it on the key, not directly into the ignition. I will grab a can tomorrow on my way home from cardiac rehab.

Okay, had not read that about electronic switch connections. So I wouldn't use it. That is all I've ever used and thankfully not on the key in the column,
