He is a bit hard to understand, but this worked for me after a few tries. You have to have both factory key fobs plus the new key fob you want to program in the truck for this method to work.

I ordered a new PATS key fob from Amazon so that I could keep a valet key set with all the limiters in the truck. That way when I get out and turn the truck off and the valet gets in and starts it, alllll the nannies are in place including speed and audio volume limiter.

I do not know about '19 MY trucks but Ford disabled the ability to duplicate a fob in '18 MY. The owners manual is not correct as I learned and had the spare programing done by a dealer.

It may have been a midyear change but it was confirmed by the dealer that programmed the key fob. The service writer told me she was beginning to see more customers come in like me, not just for F150s but all Ford models. They were nice enough to do it without charging.
