I had read about the issue with the finicky panic button on the 2015's, but thought Ford would have certainly had this fixed for the 2016.
Within a few weeks of owning my new 2016, I quickly realized this key fob had the most sensitive hair trigger when it came to the panic button.
Now having had the truck for 3 months, I decided I was done with this issue. Every time I attempted to do something with the fob in my pocket, off the alarm went.
Using Sugru (silicone putty) I formed a raised frame around the panic button, and voila the issue was resolved.
Unfortunately I was out of black Sugru, but decided grey would suffice.
I looks cleaner in person then in the photos. The second key actually turned out a little better.

Thanks for the idea. I really dislike mine. It went off again yesterday. For the life of my I cant get it to stop bitching until I get in and start the engine.
