I checked out these tires on their website. I'm liking the Trail hogs for the price. You've convinced me on the 275/65 R20 size. It fills the wheel well perfect IMO.
I'm not sure, but I think the Trail Hogs (basically a Goodyear Duratrac) would look better in 285/60 R20, vs the 275/65 R20. Just because this tire is a little skinnier than the Mud Hogs, the 285 would give it a better stance & it's still 33.5" tall. But either would be a great choice.
The 20" PVD wheels are available on the XLT with the chrome package. I have them on my XLT. Btw OP thanks for the tip on the tires and the size. I have a 1.5 AS level also. Any rubbing issues in the front?
That's great; didn't know that. Great choice of wheel.
How are these tires holding up for you? I'm seeing a lot of good reviews but no longevity reviews, Ive been looking at the same size. Whats the best psi you've found to run these tires and that size at?
I have the trail hog 285/65/20 on my fuel rims and they are great. Very little road noise and wear is very good. They have about 18,000 miles. Just serviced by ford and have 75% tread left
