Waiting for ford truck month sounds like a good idea, I will probably do that.
Are the truck months the same every year?

And how does 17,200 relate to other trades like yours?
Sound Ford in Renton, WA. But, believe me when I say I really had to work for this deal, over the course of several weeks. I wouldn't expect to just call them up and get a similar deal.

The trade in price was slightly above KBB and Edmunds values, but again I had to really work for it. They wouldn't go above $14,500 on our first go-round. Found a Mazda dealer who offered me $17,200 straight up, assuming no new car purchase, and then took it to the Ford dealer and they matched it.

If it was a '16 I would say you did slightly better than average for this forum. But on a '15, probably slightly worse than average.

But keep in mind that prices seem to be very region-based. In your area that might be a very good deal, while in others it would be easy to get.

MLP:
I wanted to know if you agreed on the vehicle price before or after discussing trade-in value?

I don't understand how a dealership could give you such a good price without losing a bunch of money (unless they plan on recouping those dollars on trade-in).

I have a similar truck on order through Fugate in Enumclaw. MSR 64k+. I'm using A/Z pin and getting price of 57,000. Additional rebates 1000 (500 for using a/z pin, 500 current plat rebate). So, roughly 56k. My MSRP is 2k more than yours, so that would be like you paying 52k, which is still crazy low. Dealers get 2500 from ford when people use A/Z plan so that the dealer doesn't lose money....I just don't see how Sound could sell for that low, regardless of how hard you negotiated. Unless its in the trade in......

I'm only wondering if I want to renegotiate with Sound rather than Fugate.....

I really don't know. I just saw a few people on here mention that it started next week or next month and I figured they knew what they were talking about - maybe they don't. I can't find any news on it anywhere.

I...definitely don't know what I'm talking about :-/. I too read it enough times on the forum, and I see GM just started their truck month commercials on TV.

I ordered my From Holiday Ford in Whitesboro Tx, but got the same great deals that they plainly advertise for all their vehicles.
