Just seen the 2015 F-150 today
Went to the Philly auto show today and drooled all over the new F-150. The model they had displayed was an XLT and I was surprised by that but I am gong to say one thing, the XLT alone looks sweet, I am going to hate to see the new Platinum. I really could not believe that the XLT looks that good, I would have no problem driving that truck displayed today. I am really hoping they do not change it before production. This truck in person looks like an F-250, just beautiful to look at, Ford really did an incredible job on the truck, it was even leveled. The truck was off limits to get a look at the inside and they had it roped off so I could not even get close, so no first hand look at the interior. The front end grill is rugged and very nice to look at, very solid front end.
I also noticed that the projection lights are out and LED's are in. I asked the guy displaying the truck to put them on, but he had no access or keys to the truck, so no first look at the headlights, bummer! They also had the new 2.7 ecoboost on display with the start stop tecno. I am going to be interested to see how that pans out. They said today it will be seamless from a stop to on, but I have a feeling, there is going to be some problems with that. I was just shocked to see how small this engine was and it will be powering a half ton truck
I looked at some of the other brands and none of them can hold a candle to the Ford line. The GMC's were bland, the Chevys were ugly and bland inside and out, the Toyota was a joke. The one truck that really got my attention was the Ram 1500 Long Horn. What a beautiful truck, I could live in that truck, just beautiful interior no cheap materials in that cab. The Long Horn would be the only other truck I would drive.
Just thought I would pass off some first hand impressions. Going to be allot to talk about, lots of new changes I really think you Ford 150 guys are going to love it as much as I did. This truck was by far my favotrite vehicle today, the 2015 was second. The Mustang was also stunning, but a whole other subject.

Thanks for the pictures. It's always nice to see new pictures. If the cloth interior remains the lighter beige and grey, I just hope Ford puts black seat belts because I always find the belts getting dirty with the lighter colors.

I'm wondering if all f150's will come with LED headlights. That would be sweet if they did. I had a 2014 toyota corolla with LED lights for a short period of time and they were awesome!

I read somewhere that LED will be standard on high-end trims and available as an option on the XLT and below.

Lets hope if not black but still just gray then ford will use the same type of cloth that toyota usues "the easy clean one", I drive around with 4 more passengers in the car and we eat and drink in it between jobs and you can make all the stains you want even coffe!!! Then say once a week or once a month just take a wet cloth towel and wife them all perfect clean.

Surprisingly I saw one today myself at our small small town auto show. It was a Race Red FX4. Exact version of my 2012. Based on the photos I wasn't a big fan of the 2015. However, in person it quickly grew on me.
Had no access to get inside, but I could reach the door and open it to look inside. I do like the new interior over the current. Tried out the soft lower tailgate and that was very nice.
Admittedly I found myself poking at the panels to see if I could feel a difference with the aluminum.
Overall, I was impressed.

I went to the Baltimore Motor Trend Car Show in hopes of seeing this truck to only find a roped of regular cab XL 2WD... You could almost hear crickets around it as nobody there ever noticed that truck.
Why the eff would Ford send the lowest trim truck possible to a major city car show? Isn't this the time to get as much of the public to see the new truck as possible?
Thanks for the pics of the XLT OP, I think it's the best looking body style to date.

Why does it look like the bumper is smaller and has no dimension to it, looks flat.
