Default dash cam

I have the Thinkware HD dash cam.
only like $70. has a micro USB that captures everything it sees.
It also has a built-in accelerometer for collisions. When triggered, It automatically saves 5 seconds before and the 5 seconds after the crash.
It only points forward though when mounted on the windshield.

****ty deal man! I know how you feel, less than 5000 km on my truck and someone put a ding/scratch in my tailgate, then 6000 km later a drunk driver runs into it causing $3400 damage that is not really noticeable but still, then as if that isn't enough, yesterday I do a walk around my truck after the oil change at Ford and there are scratches on my fender!

Was at the walmart shopping and came out in broad daylight to find some thug decided he wanted to look under my Bak Flip VP.....its SOLID ALUMINUM with a vinyl finish that looks like the roll up kind. tore the tailgate seal loose about 5 inches... they still didnt get to see that there was nothing inside of it. Gotta love ignorance. So now my cover is in my garage while the E6000 contact glue cures out for another 24 hours. Cant go driving around with clamps hanging out lol.

You would think so. I wonder if there's a small wide angle (180 degree) camera that could be triggered to record if the alarm is set off? I might have to look into that.
