Default Its Making A Noise

About three days ago I noticed when I started my truck, the engine or from the engine compartment there is a slightly different noise. I'm not sure if its a whine or hum or exactly what. Its not an overpowering noise. But just something is different. It could be the tranny to I guess. But again I'm not sure. Anyone with a 2015 experience anything like this ? I would certainly take it to the dealer but I hate to being so vague
and saying its making a different noise. Any idea if the computer diagnostic test would pick up on this 'noise' ?
My truck is a 2015 XL that I bought with 7 miles on it in August of 2015 , 5.0 V8. It just turned 55,000 miles. I like to have the 400 hp handy, but most of the time I drive like granny.

The dealer based on what you've said is probably going to say its normal.
Before taking it to a dealer, get yourself an auto stethoscope and pinpoint the noise yourself.
HF has them cheap.

Could be something as simple as the alternator, idler pulley, steering puimp, water pump, etc. bearings going out.
You won't til you find the noise source.

55000 miles wash it. Clean the engine compartment oil the pullies and see if it continues. If so you need to isolate it down to were it is coming from. It is not a hard thing to do a little spray silicon or white lithium and there ya go.
