My '18 with the 8 inch screen has refused to connect to my iPhone twice in the last few days. Today I listened to Spotify on the way home, came back out to head to the store and my phone would not connect even though it was in the list on the truck and the truck was on my phone.
Both times I had to do a master reset from the settings menu. A few weeks ago it would drop intermittedly then corrected itself. iPhone is up to date and the truck as a new battery.

Any ideas?

Clear all old Bluetooth devices from the SYNC3 system, even your phone, then clear cache and data from your phones Bluetooth, the re-pair it to Sync.

This helped me in the past. Now I just use a wireless CarPlay adapter and don’t have to worry about BT.

Sorry, I had already tried what you suggested and it kept dropping. It hasn't dropped in the last week.

Do a reset using the power and skip forward button held down for 10 seconds on controls for radio. Then power cycle your phone. Let phone sit for 10 seconds off, before turning back on. Try reconnecting after that. I usually have success with this.
