I have a 2020 ford f150 Lariat and I wear hearing aids with the iPhone 16 pro max it will not sync to my trucks sound system. It will try to sync to my hearing aids first. but if I make a call first it will go through the trucks sound system for that call but will return to trying to sync to my hearing aids when I receive the next call is there a fix so it will go through to sound system in the truck like it used to. it only started this after I got the new iPhone 16 pro max.

 

I have the 16 pro as well. no issues on my '19 F150. Delete all the existing bluetooth connections on your truck and try again

 

2nd that! I replaced my old I-phone SE with a new 16 pro. I deleted the old phone first and the new one synced right up.

 

I'd delete the old everything off truck. Delete everything off phone. Power cycle phone, power cycle truck. Like walk away from it locked, for 10 minutes. Then, remove your hearing aids (put them inside your house) and let Ford sync pair with phone only. Select phone as primary device., get it working without hearing aids within reach of bluetooth. Then proceed.

 

I tried deleting everything off the truck and everything off my phone I cycle through the phone and truck walked away for about 1 hr went back synced my phone with the truck made a call and recieved a call. I left my hearing aids in the house went back in to get my hearing aids came back out and it went back to the way it was. there must be a setting on the phone or maybe the truck that is not set right. I contacted apple and they were no help said they would refer it to there tech dept.

 

My guess, you likely need to prioritize your bluetooth devices. Google that.
