Nope I just didn't know if that was against forum rules or something. If the forum is sponsored by a dealership they tend to frown on that.

I don't think this is the dealership trying to pull a fast one at all. Those are indeed Ford charges included on the invoice.
Example:
With that said, however, the dealer can sell you the truck for whatever they want. They can discount those charges off if they want, obviously. Nothing is *required*.

I've noticed that on the trucks from that dealership in Vernon, TX that their discount total is including the discounts on the sticker for various packages. What they are calling MSRP is actually the total on the sticker before the discounts, not the official MSRP on the bottom of the window sticker.

So I am in the market for a 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat and I went to a Phil Long Ford dealership in Denver. In their invoice they have the following:
- Fuel Charge $99.44
- Advertising Assessment $753.00
That is on top of their dealer fee of $449.
Are these charges legit or is this a fake invoice they are showing me? I have never seen anything like this in any other invoice that I have seen.

Talk to the folks on the internet.
