Default Intermittent Blue Tooth

Anyone have an issue with Bluetooth dropping their phone in and out? My issue has been Bluetooth links up to my phone, then sometime drops it, links again, drops again, etc, etc, etc.

I have tried it with 2 androids (Samsung S7 and S9) and an iPhone 8 with the same results. This is an intermittent issue, no rhyme nor reason to when it happens. It was suggested I contact Ford to find out how to update Bluetooth on Sync 3. This has to be a Ford issue since it has happened with three different phones.

Getting more frequent? Starting to see the "No GPS" symbol on your NAV screen? Response to other button/screen presses seem sluggish?

Mine has been doing it also. I need to turn off the Bluetooth and turn it back on to connect.

Same here. It drops and then reconnects on it's own. No rhyme or reason why. 2018 XLT 302a screw

On Sync 2 it would do that with my iPhone. Could work good for a week then all of the sudden be intermittent for some time then back to OK. But that was on a '15 XLT. Zero issues with Sync 3 so far.

Ford Support suggested master reset. If you do that, make sure you write down any and all information you want to keep (favorite addresses, radio and sirus stations) so you can put them back in after the reset wipes everything. I have done the master reset 4 times over the last year in an effort to correct the issue with only temporary relief.

Update: Just spoke to customer service via phone (chat is worthless since it always says try again later). CS made several suggestions, which she agreed I had already tried and upgraded the issue. I've been given a case # and was told I should have a response in approximately 3 business days (Wed or Thur of next week). I'll post what they come up with.
