Just noticed this on mine yesterday as well, add that to the list

 

Mine has looked like that ever since the day I bought it. It kind of bothered me, but not enough to want to take it apart. But it isn't quite as bad as your first post.

 

I had a similar issue on mine, the piece below the rubber was warping. It is only attached by 4 screws and 6-8 clips.

Try repositioning the rubber piece first, open the glove box and pull it off.
It just sits there on top of the piece that's warping,

Mine warped outwards and was interfering with glove box closing.
My dealer replaced the part, 10 min job.
