I have a bad drivers door module replacement will be here tomorrow. This morning my truck was dead. Jumped it went to work came home battery dead. Bought a new battery.

After resetting the battery in the bcm and finishing for the night I noticed all my overhead interior lights stay on.

Reading in the WSM it reads as the door afar switch triggers them. I checked the ajar switch and it is working


Anyone seen this before?

 

did some more testing. the lights do shut off after exiting. but the are on 100% front and rear if the truck is started.....so odd

 

In case someone else has this problem I had a code about the bcm not being initialized. I boughta 2 day license for FJDS. Reflashed the BCM now no DTC and lights working correctly
