Default Intercooler & Lower Trim Panel Opening

If you see the attached picture, you will notice a metal/mesh grill that I put on my 2015 F150 3.5L Ecoboost. So here’s my question: will this negatively effect the intercooler/turbo? Just wanted to make sure

Nope. That is pretty fine wire. It might cause a little turbulance, which could disrupt smooth airflow through the fins, but I doubt you would notice anything.

Seeing that ford put a license plate there, I doubt it matters or will affect anything.

It'll be fine. Turbulent air is always going over it coming off the top and bottom of the bumper.

Nah, looks good, won't affect airflow to the intercooler. And yeah, blocks way less air than the license plate!
