Default Installing Power Supply to bed

I was thinking about running an auxiliary power supply to the rear of the bed on my 16 Lariat . Would be used for things like cooler, additional bed lights, heated ski boot bag and (very occasionally) a small 2500# winch (mounts on the tow hitch). Tried searching but came up blank.

Looking for ideas on where people have hooked up rear power supply to, wire gauge used etc. Thanks!

12 gage positive red wire from battery to 20 amp fuse to double cigar outlet left rear corner of bed. Actually had it run by the place that installed the cap.

Use for cooler..

I have a deep cycle marine battery in my back connected to three outlets that can do 2000w max and 1000w nominal. I have it all attached/under a bench made for my dogs to ride on. Had my audio shop do it so not 100% sure of all the wires used. Have it rigged so the battery wont drain my main one if I forget turn it off, but it will charge off of it when the truck is running.
