I installed my front grille and front emblem yesterday I love the way it looks. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to install it. There are the holes and stuff so you can transfer the shutter system. I couldn’t install the rear emblem because of time but I’m going to try to do it Saturday.
Much improvement over the chrome grille. On my previous gen XLT, I had a paint to match (PTM) grille surround and it really improved the looks by lessening the perceived visual mass of the front end.
Definitely an improvement. I didn't like the chrome at all, it was just too much. I dont know if you can see it in the picture but the grille has a glossy look to it and i wanted to try to match the glossy look of the paint. Next up the painted bumpers.
Looks nice. I have an 18 and have a STX Honeycomb grill with Ruby Red surround being delivered tomorrow to replace my 2 bar grey one. Looking forward to installing it.
