Installed the Morimoto XB LED headlights

Installed them yesterday, pretty simple and straight forward install. There are about 9 plugs in total on each headlight. Most plug into one another, there are 3 plugs for factory wiring and one additional for the full-time DRL. I'm really impressed with how bright and clean these lights are. Overall, I'm happy and these are definitely a step up from the Anzo's.
Thanks

So I just installed mine in my 2015 non-factory-LED F150... and I think I'm going to have to return them. The outline is stupid bright and does not dim when the headlights come on. I feel like these could be blinding to other drivers.
Will reach out to Morimoto tomorrow, but I'm 99 percent sure I installed everything properly. The power for the outlines is from a fuse with constant power when the key is on. Seems like they would have had to wire in some sort of control module to dim the outline once the headlight projectors came on...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but if not, IMO this is sort of a deal breaker for the non-LED trucks if you don't want everyone else on the road to hate you at night.

Let us know what Morimoto says, several of us have noticed the outlines seem borderline distracting at night with the way they are wired now. I am hopeful that there is a way around this other than disabling the outlines- which you can do without any other loss in functionality of the lights by just not using the fuse tap. I feel like if they got their power from the same source as the running lights, the voltage running to the outlines would be a bit lower and they wouldn't be quite so bright.
My concern is that the dimming can't be done a simple way, but I'll report back if I find anything out. Just seems like a huge oversight to me.

Right, you could still use the headlights without the outlines but I feel like these aren't worth anywhere near the price without that functionality.
