Old Fart
You should have received an email from me on Friday just before the tracking info. Our most recent batch of black brackets arrived back from plating and I was unhappy with them, aesthetically. I made the difficult decision to have them reworked and it cost us a few days. They're being boxed up right now, so you should see movement on that tracking number tomorrow!

What is different about this release compared to the factory one other than the strap that you pull to release? I've seen the factory one drilled for a keyring or something to attach a strap to. Does this one work easier/better?

As the OP, I can tell you that this unit works great, is well made, reasonably priced and an easy install. Factory release has no strap and can be released easiest by sliding a box wrench down behind the seat to catch the pin. With this unit strap sticks up above the seat back, one quick tug and seat is released. Your choice.

Thanks for the support!
Not exactly. In a few minutes with a drill, you have the factory latch with a hole drilled in it, a keyring and some kind of strap or shoelace, probably tied around your headrest. This is a much more refined solution, but since that clearly has no value to you, you definitely shouldn't purchase one!
