Install Ford e-locker
Just a thought: If you plan to add a locker, you may consider adding a locker on the front axle and sticking with limited slip in the rear. Since lockers are needed at slow speed only, you will find that when your in a lost traction situation, the front being locked will provide u with much more traction than the rear. JMO.

What on earth makes the E-locker useless? It has saved my butt many times while I am in the marsh and run into a silty, sticky mud covered levee. I love having the ability to turn it on and off as needed, before there is a slip/stuck situation. If you are referring to just on road usage, then sure, there isn't really a good use case for a locker, but for those of us in off road situations, it's nice to have. As far as a limited slip options, a lot of our guys have Tundras with limited slip, and they seem to get stuck frequently. Although I have seen a few get themselves out of trouble, I think, based solely on my experience, I'd rather have the locker and not get stuck in the first place. That being said, the marsh is a particularly brutal place to drive, so maybe in a more traditional off road situation the limited slip would be nice. I just don't think it's fair to say the E-locker is useless.

I would install a limited slip if someone made one for the 9.75" with 35 spline axles.

You are correct. It's not useless for everyone. It's just useless for me. Just today, taking my son to school, I stepped on the throttle at about 30 to pass a slow moving truck on a two lane road. My neighbor, in his Dodge, did the exact same thing behind me. Unlike any previous truck I owned, this one lit up the right tire causing the even more worthless traction control to clamp on the left brake. Net result is my neighbor, in his Dodge, had to back off the throttle to not hit me. We both laughed at school drop off, but it's a bit embarrassing. A limited slip diff would literally double our on-road traction.

you should have anti skid control. you should not be spinning tires unless you turn it off. button near emergency button that looks like a vehicle with wavy lines from tires. anti skid applies rear brakes when rear tires start so spin. OR your rear brakes are shot.

Worth noting that the truck has somewhere around 500 ft/lbs of torque at the tires. Hence why I'd like to have 2 actual tires providing traction.
