Information Request/Backup lines on reverse camera
To: 2020 F150 owners with multiple surround/back-up cameras. When shifting into reverse and the backup lines appear, do they disappear from the screen when you push the "+" button function in the upper left corner of the screen which enlarges the image? I took possession of my 2020 Lariat Crew-cab in March of 2020 and had the backup lines visible on the multiple screen when shifting into reverse (I do not recall however if they appeared when using the "+" function). I got a backup camera recall and the factory sent, and my dealer installed a new camera. I lost the backup line function with the new camera. After my dealer worked diligently trying to correct the problem, turns out, the camera the factory sent was not the correct camera. My dealer installed a new correct backup camera yesterday and the backup lines immediately returned...they do not, however, show up when I hit the "+" full screen button, so I'm wondering if they were ever there on full screen or if there's a setting that needs to be activated that puts the backup lines on the enlarged screen.
Thanks for any consideration.
Thanks for any consideration.
2020 Platinum. The only line I see after pushing the + is the center black dashed line. The red-yellow-green lines disappear. And if I press the camera hard button on the dash, I get the wide angle view and all of the guide lines disappear.

I now know there is a "flash/activate" setting for the multiple/surround cameras that must be accessed by computer and activated and saved, which I'm pretty sure will cause the center black dash line to appear on the "+" setting.
So for any that have/get a backup camera recall, just know that: 1) there are different cameras numbers and some will work and some won't; and 2) if you replace a multi/surround camera, the dealer will have to "activate" and save that feature in order to have the center black dash line appear when using the "+" feature.
