Default Info screen defaults to trailer

Over the weekend my 502A Lariat began defaulting to the trailer info screen. The first couple of times it seemed strange, but now it seems to go there every time I start it up. Even stranger, the counter is increasing for my trailer, even though it hasn't been hooked up for a couple of weeks. It shows 170 miles but I really only towed for under 20. I've dug through the owners manual with no luck.

Anyone have an idea what's going on? I can manually switch info screens and they all work great. But shut it off, then restart... Right back to trailer info. Hmm?

I just towed a small utility trailer for the first tow ever. When I disconnected and restarted the truck later it said the trailer was still there then finally said trailer disconnected.

My truck began to do this, and I took it to the dealership. The guy had it "fixed" in a minute. It was my fault, for changing some of the trailer settings without connecting the trailer. I believe I changed the trailer type, and then started one of the checklists. At that point, I either had to complete what I started, or delete the trailer.

Thanks Danager. Your answer was spot on! Apparently while showing off the trailer towing features I started changes but didn't finish them. Simple fix once you know what to look for. Thanks for your help!
