Default Indexing windows?

My Corvette is setup so my windows open about 1/2 inch when I open the door and then when you close the door the window will close all the way,its called indexing and it makes it so you don't have to slam the door because it lets pressure out in the car, can I set my 2016 F150 to do this?

I believe the Corvettes do this as a result of having frameless doors. Since the windows seal directly to the car instead of a door frame, they lower to release.

Regardless, the F-150 has vents to relieve the pressure difference in the cab when closing doors, so you wouldn't notice a difference.

I concur. The mustang had/has? frameless doors and do the same thing. I always thought it was for a proper seal.

Has.

Like they all have said. It is because there isn't a top window frame, not to make it easier to close. Unless you can find me a vehicle that does this with a window frame.

My truck is so air tight its hard to close the door,if I crack the window a little its much easier to close.

then the vents in the back of the cab may be blocked.
