Default Increased road noise after leveling

I had a Rancho quick lift installed on my '17 Screw 4x4 and noticed an increased level of road noise. Engaging 4 hi doesn't change the noise level and I jacked the front wheels off of the ground and started the engine to get vacuum to the hubs and they both were disengaged as they should be. Has anyone else notice this? Maybe a little less tire in the wheel well? Tires are Hankook 275/55r20 ATM's.

The truck is aerodynamic as designed so you've thrown that off with the lift. Sounds completely normal.

There shouldn't be any noticeable difference in road noise from leveling your truck. Did you get an alignment? If not perhaps you're noticing tire noise because the toe needs adjusting.

This has everything to do with toe and tires. Like last5oh said, did you get an alignment? If not you can expect your tires to last about a week.

I did get the truck aligned at the same time and was told to come back in a couple of weeks to let them check the toe in.

I just had rancho installed 3 days ago and i havent noticed any difference running on winter tires. THe only thing ive noticed is my wheels jump when i drive over the speed bumps, but i was told to change the settings on the suspension.

Pretty sure that you are right about it being an aero thing. Took the air dam off because of where I'll be driving during hunting season and the noise went away for the most part.
