Default Ignition getting stuck

its now happened a couple of times now, where I’ll try to turn the key and it won’t budge. It’s rather annoying that my new truck is having this issue. Is there any fix? It eventually turns for whatever reason but still would like to know if there is a solution. Thank you.

Does it happen when your steering wheel is locked with your wheels in a turned position? This has happened to my truck twice in the 3 years I've owned it and both times were when I parked and my wheels weren't straight. I now make it a point to straighten my wheels when parking and before turning the truck off.

don't turn the steering wheel once the ignition is off. when it locks from turning the wheel move it back and forth till ignition is freed. happens to me all the time

hmm easy enough fix but you would think a 50k+ dollar truck wouldn’t do that

Cars have been doing that for years . Turn the wheel a little and then turn the key.
