Default Icon Stage 2 Kit order for my Lariat 4WD

So my wife just ordered the Icon Stage 2 Kit for me... Really stoked about this birthday present.

Stage 3 hooked her up... Very thankful for that. Im looking forward to getting this kit installed.

We also ordered a 2.25 Rear block to lift the truck all the way around... I think this is going to look amazing... I just hope it performs well to!!! My guess is it will.

So here is the overview of kit:

Overview:

ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2015-UP Ford F-150 4WD suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. The Stage 2 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring an internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-2.5” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Uniball upper control arms on the F-150 not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment spec range increasing caster over stock. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2015-UP F-150 4WD Stage 2 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt.

Key Features:

• Increased wheel travel and ride quality over stock with no change in towing capacity

• Unique valving developed for the lighter weight of the 2015-UP F-150

• Vehicle specific tuned front and rear shocks for superior damping and vehicle control

• Adjustable coilovers from 0-2.5" of lift height

• Uniball Control Arms for added strength, durability, and alignment spec range

• 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components

• Corrosion resistant CAD plated coilover shock body with 7/8 shaft

• High strength alloy CNC machined lower bar pin

• FK rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection

• 2.0 aluminum body rear IFP shock with 5/8" polished nitro steel shaft

• 100% Bolt-on system - no drilling,cutting or welding necessary for install

• Made in the USA

Very nice. I've had my Icon Stage 2 installed for a few days now and I really like the way it looks. I didn't put any taller blocks on the rear though, but I think I am going to do that now.

When I measure from the ground to the top of the wheel well the rear is about 0.25" lower. I'd rather it be slightly higher, if anything.

What is the stock rear block height and what height do you think I should get if I want it 0.5" higher int he back or so?

I was told the front may settle a bit, but not sure how long before it does or how much.

Have any pics? I had a Icon Stage 5 on 2012 Tacoma, kinda miss it. Told myself this time around I wasn't gonna mess with that stuff.

Good to hear man.

The stock block is 1 1/2 if you have an FX4.

I went 2.25. I was going to do a 2inch but after speaking to stage 3 I decided to do the 2 and a quarter.

They are running a 3 inch block and they said they wish they went between a 2 and a 2 1/2. So me personally went in the middle.

What's your fender to the ground measurement? Front and rear?

Also you have any side profile pics you can post

I'll see if I can get some pictures this weekend.

It is an FX4, so I will have to see about getting a 2 or 2.25 block. Where are they listed on Stage3's website? I couldn't find them.

If I remember correctly the front was 41-5/8" and the back was 41-3/8". I'll double check when I get a chance.

Tires are 275/70R18 Toyo MT with Method Double Standard black wheels.

Truck is a Lariat 3.5EB, Sport Appearance, Tuxedo black, FX4, 502A, short bed.
