I have a 2015 F150 XLT. I have what sounds like mud tires on pavement.

Problem 1. Hub and Bearings rubbing against each other

Solution 1. Hub replaced by dealer

Problem 2. Sound could be heard from transfer case

Solution 2. Transfer case bearings replaced

Problem 3. Unable to get it out of 4L

Solution 3. Unknown but truck is back in 2WD

Could this all be linked to a bad Hub Actuator?

 

What makes you think you are still 4L? Does the dash say it is or are you just feeling it when doing sharp turns?
