Default How to stop this stupid screen?!?!?!

This is driving me nuts. I think it is a bug in Sync 3 because I have no idea how to disable it. I have the wireless turned off, notifications turned off, and yet, when ever I start the truck and it can see an AP it pops up this screen, and it only goes away when I touch close.

My WIFI popup fix

*You must have a WIFI network to connect to. I used my phone as a hotspot.

When WIFI window pops up:
1 Enable the hotspot on your phone (or be able to connect to a trusted wifi)
2 Touch view networks on screen
3 Connect to your hotspot/wifi SSID
4 Once connected goto Settings > General >Automatic System Updates
5 Press > Scan for Updates Now

Last checked for updates will show the current date and time.

When I got my new truck I got this message and tried updating using WiFi with no luck. I downloaded the update onto a USB and it did just fine and ran fairly quickly. This is what I would recommend to do at this time. I are stupud, Wrong screen LOL:

How stupid is it, or at least interesting that the first thing you need to do when you get a new truck is update the software. Kind of like getting a new phone Eh?

But, it is already up to date, it's on version 3. This isn't the update window, its the view wireless networks screen, which has a slider to turn on or off, and it is currently set to off, but apparently it isn't. I also have my home network SSID programmed so it connects at home when it's on.

I just went to the owner site.

This software release is the latest update in our continued efforts to improve system performance, device connectivity, and the overall SYNC experience.
This software contains all previous enhancements, so there is no need to install any other updates. The installation of this update will take up to 60 minutes to complete. DO NOT remove your USB drive or turn off your vehicle. You must wait until Installation Complete is displayed on the center screen before removing your drive or turning your vehicle off.
While the update is loading, SYNC will not recognize your mobile phone or media device. Be sure your vehicle engine is running (not in accessory mode) throughout the entire installation process. Although your vehicle must be in park when you initiate the installation process, once the download process has begun, you may drive your vehicle.

Here's the funny part.

it showed software update version 1.0, then after clicking the begin software update and then history link with the above, I went back to the main sync page and now says version 2.3. SMH. Then click it one more time and System Error. No S**T?

That's problem. Verison 3 has this little bug. Maybe when Ford really releases version 3, it will be fixed.

Maybe that's why my vehicle status is always "unknown"

2.3 is the "official" release, thats why it shows up for mine even though 3.0 was confirmed as installed on 10/4
