Question HOW TO: Guide for Headliner Modification

To All,
Curious, has there been a HOW TO guide put together on modifying a extended cab headliner to a regular cab. I would like to add overhead console to a reg cab headliner, if its possible.

Thanks for all inputs...

I've never seen one and I kinda doubt one exists. Modifying a longer headliner for a shorter truck would be nearly impossible with the way those headliners are formed. It's not just a flat sheet. You're probably better off figuring out how to cut your existing regular cab headliner for the overhead console.

Thanks for responding. I thought so too. Just wanted to confirm. I think the approach it get a used but headliner from extended cab with overheard consoles included and get a standard cab. Then cut out overhead console area from extended cab and morph/blend it into the reg cab headliner. I don't want to ruin original. It would best to then recover headliner with say a black headliner material since reg cab only came with grey. I want to convert my reg cab to all black interior. I am pretty confident all the wiring for lighting is there on my reg cab to handle overhead console additions...
