Default How Do Ya Keep the Tail Clean?

Any suggestions out there?

Washed and waxed my new truck. Had a cigar and enjoyed looking at the beautiful truck.

Hopped in and ran a quick errand. Returned home and walked to the rear of my clean truck. The whole back end was dusty. I was driving on paved city streets. Purchasing a black truck, I knew I was in for a chore keeping her shiny, but this is ridiculous.

Would mud flaps help with this dusty tail gate, or is it a lost cause?

Lost cause.

Bought a black vehicle early in life. Promised myself never again.

Wife wanted a new Escape. Bought a black one. Tried to talk her out of it. Now she says never again.

The worse car I've ever seen is my wife's new Nissan Rogue.

That blacked out rear window IS a lost cause.

Definitely a lost cause! I keep Lucas Oil Slick Mist handy at all times. Quick spray and wipe off and she's back to new!!

Does a fresh coat of wax help keep off the dust? Maybe just reapply to the tailgate occasionally?

The old stand by for just a dusty vehicle...California Duster.

I have owned many black vehicles and they truly are impossible to keep clean, even if you don't drive it!
