cleaning the truck out after mulch I normally have just removed the tailgate and clean it out, started to do that this weekend until I was reminder of the wiring harness that almost ripped the tailgate out of my hands .


Did not have time or light to look, but is there a electrical connector that is easily reached to disconnect the tailgate harness?

 

There's a connector underneath just behind the spare tire!!
