how to build ?
First off can you build a lariat or KR with the shifter on the column and still have the full size console. Guys im coming from a 2010 platinum to 2013 Ram Longhorn (bad descision here) (which i love the shifter **** they had. it free up a lot of room in the console area). Going back to a 2015 F150. I know i can build it in a XLT model

Here you go. I was close to my dealer and stopped by. I knew they had one.

Having built and ordered my truck before there was even one to see I spent countless hours researching and comparing the various models. These are some of the sources I found. Hope this helps you out. I've seen and read to many posts by members that ordered or bought a truck without doing their homework and then finding out that they didn't really get what they wanted.
The first place I would start is the Ford build and price website. If you look on the "choose your models page" You will notice a box to the right of choose your model that says "Compare models" this will give you a good starting point as to which models have what standard, optional or not available equipment. Find the model that meets your minimum needs. THEN: build it, build it again, build it one more time, build the next model up because sometimes you will find that you can actually get more truck for less money if you are building one with several options.
Go through the dealer order guide: Such as the link below
http://blog.caranddriver.com/2015-fo...now-available/
This is what the dealer will use to order your truck. Don't forget to consider payload and towing if that will be an issue.
Lastly go to some of the threads of the members trucks or to your local dealer. It will give you a better idea of how the various colors "look in the wild". Ford has some incredible colors and was one of my toughest decisions.
Take your time and think it through. Don't be one of those guys that starts a post with "I wish I had"
Good luck, your about to spend a lot of money, get it right.
