Default how accurate are TPMS?

so i bought my 2015 screw about a week ago, i have the sport with the 18" rims. the two front read 38psi, and the rear ones are reading 37psi and 35psi. it has been like this since i picked it up, so i used a hand held(cheap digital one) at the valve stem they all read 38. Im new to the TPMS system as i have never had one on another vehicle. is this normal?

They should be pretty accurate and all read the same. Try taking it to a tire shop (not the dealer) for a second opinion. See if the tire shop has a hand-held gauge and see if it reads the same as your hand-held. Once you have established that all 4 tires are indeed the same, have the shop reset all the TPMS sensors then see what they read.

All 4 of mine read 39,36,38,37. Checked with old school tire gauge-all were either at or a hair below 35.

I have access to a high dollar calibrated gauge and it is within 1psi of the TPMS readings.

Verified with my high end digital gage that has an accuracy of 0.5 PSI, the TPMS was within 1PSI

I'll have to check this with mine. It's an old dial gauge that's gone through the last 4 vehicles with me and it's remained spot-on accurate all along. I've never trusted the digital gauges.

Mine are very accurate. Have used two different digital gauges to check them.

Spot on.

My truck reports 38PSI while it's actually only 35PSI.
I verified several times with an accurate gage, so it's 3PSI off.

Probably also worth mentioning....roughly every 10 degrees F of ambient temp drop = a loss of 1 PSI from your tires.
