Read the instructions a few times so you get the sequence straight in your head. If you need a ladder to reach the "Learn" button on your garage door opener, have it in place and ready before you start this procedure. For maximum range, put a brand new battery in your existing opener remote before you start.

Had an easy fix for my transmitters poor range, popped the transmitter off the visor and discovered the vendor still had some of the red and clear sticker with the partial word F150 still stuck on the front part of the transmitter, peeled it off and now it opens from the street like it should. Who would have thought, they get in a hurry and don't peel the sticker all the way off.Wonder how many others on all vehicles that have poor range caused by a sticker?
