has anyone else heard a slight high pitch noise when they press the gas on the 5.0?
Also feel some vibrating in idling as well.. May have it looked at it as it sounds like it's been getting worse.

You mean a very faint noise when you're lightly accelerating?

And high pitched, almost like a tiny vacuum leak?

Let me know what you find... I have the same thing with my truck. I'm sick of going to the dealer. I've found so many issues with my truck, I'm just going to drive it til the lease is up and ignor them.

Will do dropped it off yesterday for a couple other things and said they would take a look at that as well so we will see.

I had the same problem with mine, it would only do it when accelerating, come to find out it is the vacuum tubes on the 4x4., next time while it is making the noise put it in 4hi and see if it goes away, and it is covered under the powertrain warranty

What was the fix. I have this currently happening.

Just had them replace the IWE Actuators on my 2014 for this problem. Then on the test drive the noise returned after replacing these parts.

1. Wheel hub assembly's , driver / passenger
2. IWE actuators , driver / passenger
3. CV axle passenger side ( they broke it while repairing the truck.)

Anyways, we returned to the dealership and the new drivers side IWE had broken again with less than 7 miles on it. It was replaced and the noise is still present, but not as bad as before. This is with 4Hi on, in 2wd there is a very faint whistling sound when accelerating.

Edit: I know you can't drive with it on dry pavement in 4wd. Only was done to prove to Ford a problem exists.
