Default High Idle
I know my truck high idles when I cold start to warm the engine, but even after driving for awhile, when I put it in park the idle jumps back up to around 1000 R.P.M. Is anyone else having this issue?

need to know what yr and engine combo you have the issue with
my truck does the opposite i lost all high idle even if i start it cold and its 18 degrees out

Why is this an issue?
1K rpm in neutral or park doesn't sound like high idle.

ours is the same. Has to sit for awhile but does it. I just let it sit for a few seconds while I get my belt on and the idle lowers.

i say normal
