Default High fuel consumption

My 2018 Lariat Ecoboost is getting only about 11 MPG according to the fuel consumption gauge and gas-pump/mileage calculations. This is much lower than when we bought the truck six months ago. Any thoughts on cause, etc?

Here are some questions:
  1. Make any changes to the truck, like wheels and tires?
  2. What maintenance has been done?
  3. What mode do you truck in?
  4. How many miles on the truck?
  5. What gasoline are you using?

Winter blend is a fuel mileage killer.

I know my 5L mpg drops like a rock the more ethonal that is present in the gas. I usually run ethonal free 91 but lately I've been trying out "ultra 94" and it contains up to 15% ethonal. According to the distance to empty display its over 100km less per tank.

running the A/C will affect your mileage, as will simply...especially on a boosted engine...how hard you press on the loud pedal.

Only 1.7%. Winter on the other hand can increase fuel consumption a huge amount, depending just how severe your winter is.

Since winter blend fuel plays little to no part in this, what was your mileage before it dropped to 11?

there are numerous things that it could be spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel quality, tires and wheels, air filter, excess idle times, dragging brakes.
