Default High Beam Wire

I want to control my light bar with the high beams. Is there anywhere inside the cab to tap into the 12 volt high beam wire to control the relay for my light bar so it will come on and off with the high beams? thanks in advance for the advise.

You may be able to tap into the HB wire at the BCM connector in the Passenger kick panel. Do you have factory halogens or LED lights? I can help you out with a wiring diagram if you need.

I have halogens. If you could let me know location of wire and color it would be greatly appreciated.

You can tap into either the left or right wire, which I assume you are connecting to a relay. The connector at the BCM is C2280G.

carrier-many thanks for your quick response. I'll let you know how it works out when I'm done. Since you seem to be an expert on wiring location can I trouble you with one more question. I'm thinking of installing a amp/sub combo behind the rear seat and wondered the best place to tie into the rear speakers to gain access to speaker signal and should I access both right and left signal. The amp/sub has both high and low level inputs.

No problem. That is connector C3020 behind the seat. See the attached documents. That should help you.

Is there audio signal at this connector and is it low level or speaker level. I have non-sony 8" touch screen system with no sub.

Sorry, I'm not that much of an audio guy. Hopefully someone else that has used this connector can chime in. I have attached the wiring diagram for the audio system if that will help. I put the sub diagram on the first post.

Hope the storm took it easy on you! Any chance you have a diagram for a ‘19 with LED headlights? I’m trying to accomplish the same thing. Many thanks.
