Hi all.
Recently picked up my 2018 F150 Lariat supercab, Stone gray & camel interior with dark brown accents.
Ford has gotten so many things right with this generation of F150.
My only complaint is with the halogen headlamps.
Has any one tried any of the HID conversion kits,and if so ,would you please comment whether you like it or not,also provide manufacturer details

Looking to retrofit projectors into your current headlights? Or buy aftermarket headlights?

 

I’m in the same boat...2018 XLT....The stock halogens suck to put it mildly. Bought a set of LEDs to convert the bulbs from F150LEDS and got them installed several days ago. They are absolutely brighter and tested the glare issue with my wife in her oncoming car. She gave me a thumbs up as opposed to the middle one so glare is a non issue. All in all I still may opt to retrofit these suckers to HIDs simply because I like the look and the additional tight light pattern. I’ll move forward with that project once I feel comfortable with the front grill dissection on the 2018....it’s different than the earlier models as best as I can see. Hopefully someone will post a complete process for the 2018 XLT headlight removal because it is definitely different than what’s I’ve seen so far on videos.

 

Get projector headlights if youre switching to HIDs.

 

Wait, does your Lariat have LED headlights?

 

I configured my Lariat with the 501 A package and then added some extras
The 501 package comes with halogen headlamps. While searching U tube, I came across a short video from Vanquish auto ,comparing Halogen,HID & LED.
Just enter 2018 F-150 headlamp upgrade. Looks like the HID conversion kit with 6000K temp bulbs might be the way to go.
